Automation Developer
Job Description
About the Role:
- The Application Specialist Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom web, desktop, and mobile applications.
Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
- Develop or modify custom programs for existing applications such as reports, interfaces, conversions or extensions.
- Design and develop custom systems where COTS applications are not applicable
- Test, debug and document custom programming.
- Follow internal design standards.
- Follow internal development methodology.
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field (e.G. Computer Science, Information Systems). Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- 10 years of development experience.
- Experience with one or more programming language such as SQL, Java, HTML, Javascript, Access, ASP, Database connections.
- Experience with Web Services (IIS / Tomcat).
- Experience migrating home-grown solutions to new Enterprise ready environments.
- Experience with BOT development, Automation, ChatGPT.
- Experience with using SFTP to push and pull data from external systems.
- Experience working with sensitive / personal data.
- Experience Cloud Applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IT development methodology such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Must be a U.S. Person (i.E. A lawful permanent resident of the U.S.).
This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.
