Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established manufacturing facility in St. Marys, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing all maintenance functions for your designated shift, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of equipment and systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Compensation: Up to $80, 000/year
Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift
Job Type: Direct Hire
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in maintenance supervision and hands-on troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
- Prior experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management is a plus.
- Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead maintenance functions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
- Manage a skilled maintenance workforce, ensuring adherence to safety standards, including OSHA regulations and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Schedule and prioritize non-breakdown maintenance jobs, coordinating downtime with internal teams.
- Provide troubleshooting support to maintenance staff and assist with recurring issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Monitor and report on manhour usage, maintenance schedules, and other key performance indicators.
- Assist with purchasing required materials and participate in cost-saving initiatives.
- Support engineering teams with project installations and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, including collective bargaining agreements and safety protocols.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks.
- Work may involve both office and hands-on tasks.
