Job Description


Position Description:

·Pack, seal and affix labels to prepare material for storage within the warehouse.
·Assure that all parts are packed and stacked properly in boxes and on Skids to insure the highest quality to ship out.
·Accomplish getting weights and dims of product going out and create pack lists (1750)
·Able to load trucks.
·Be able to identify part numbers and serial numbers against the pick tickets.
·Be able to count high volume of material such as nuts, bolts, washers.
·Properly identify location markers to verify proper location of material.
·Perform routine counts of warehouse locations and properly annotate quantities on count sheets.
·Operate forklift equipment as needed.
·Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data.
  • Working knowledge of supply and supply management.
  • Ability to learn GDLS processes, products and military technology.
  • Ability to learn and operate forklift equipment as needed.
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally & written) and interact with internal & external customers clients.
  • Required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work at heights, able to climb with and without a ladder onto a Stryker, and work in all weather conditions and in extreme temperatures (cold and hot).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years related work experience.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Passport with potential for travel in support of Company requirements.

This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.
