Job Description


Join a team shaping the future of combat vehicle design. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the next generation of military vehicles, including advancements in tracked and wheeled systems.
Estimated Salary: $90K

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of combat vehicle chassis structures and mechanical components from system-level requirements.
  • Coordinate and review subsystem/component performance analysis, including structural integrity and response.
  • Manage the design and development of structural subsystems such as ramps, hatches, and access panels.
  • Lead assigned design staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare and present design development updates to management and customers.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle chassis system design or related areas.
  • Knowledge of vehicle structure design and structural analysis.
  • Proficiency with CAD systems and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to meet security clearance requirements.

Preferred:
  • Experience designing tracked combat vehicle structures, including survivability and manufacturability.
  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering.

Additional Information
  • Office-based role with occasional travel, including overseas assignments.
  • Involves interaction with prototype assembly teams and system testing activities.
