Job Description

Estimated Salary: $90K
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of combat vehicle chassis structures and mechanical components from system-level requirements.
- Coordinate and review subsystem/component performance analysis, including structural integrity and response.
- Manage the design and development of structural subsystems such as ramps, hatches, and access panels.
- Lead assigned design staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prepare and present design development updates to management and customers.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle chassis system design or related areas.
- Knowledge of vehicle structure design and structural analysis.
- Proficiency with CAD systems and strong communication skills.
- Ability to meet security clearance requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience designing tracked combat vehicle structures, including survivability and manufacturability.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering.
Additional Information
- Office-based role with occasional travel, including overseas assignments.
- Involves interaction with prototype assembly teams and system testing activities.
This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.
