Systems Engineering Support Specialist
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Work Arrangement: On-Site (limited hybrid flexibility)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor’s degree or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized field

OR equivalent experience (4 years of job-related experience)

Minimum of 2 additional years of relevant job-related experience

OR Master’s degree in a related field

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES
As a Systems Engineering Support Specialist supporting the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program, you will be part of a cross-functional engineering team responsible for delivering integrated hardware, software, and system solutions.
This role may support one or more systems engineering focus areas depending on program needs and individual experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO ANTICIPATE

Support systems engineering activities across the full system lifecycle

Support test and integration engineering activities including hardware and software validation, verification, and performance testing

Support requirements engineering activities including documentation, analysis, traceability, and change management

Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities including system modeling, simulations, and design analysis

Support hardware-systems engineering efforts including system design, integration, and troubleshooting

Assist with system documentation, technical data, and engineering artifacts

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues

Support program execution activities as assigned within the CPS program
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards

Familiarity with requirements management and system modeling tools

Experience supporting test, integration, or verification activities

Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly

Strong collaboration and communication skills in team-based environments
