Salary: $65k - $90, 000 - Depending on experience
Hours: 7: 30am- 4pm
Job Description:
CPI’ S client is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join their team in Wixom, MI. The ideal candidate should have a background in CNC machining and programming, with the capability to work on various CNC machines, including Fadal, Bridgeport, Neway, and Brother CNCs (experience with these machines is preferred but not required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Program new parts efficiently and accurately.
- Design and create fixtures and jaws to securely hold parts during machining.
- Conduct thorough program testing and validation for production purposes (cradle to grave).
- Maintain tooling sheets for all new parts.
- Troubleshoot machine faults or crashes and take prompt corrective actions to resume production.
- Identify opportunities for machining improvements in existing parts to enhance production cycle times.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and machining operations.
- Familiarity with Fadal, Bridgeport, Neway, and Brother CNC machines (preferred but not required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues effectively.
- Experience in implementing process improvements to optimize production cycle times.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
