Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design electrical power systems, lead project teams, and contribute to the success of diverse projects ranging from new construction to renovation work across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical power, low and medium voltage distribution systems, fire alarms, lighting, and grounding systems for various building types (new and renovation).
- Develop technical designs and construction documents.
- Apply engineering standards, systems knowledge, and building codes.
- Coordinate with utility companies.
- Conduct field visits to verify existing conditions or installation designs.
- Lead the electrical team on selected projects, managing designers and drafters.
- Work on a variety of building types, including retail, commercial, multi-family, healthcare, education, cultivation, and industrial.
- Receive training and mentoring for further career development.
- 1 year experience minimum or equivalent working knowledge/experience
- Experience in utilizing various computer software packages such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Coordination Study and Arc Fault Study Calculations.
- MEP Industry experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- PE (Professional Engineer) license (preferred but not required).
- Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
