Onsite- Direct Hire
Salary Range: $110, 000 - $140, 000 per year

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team in Lansing, MI. The Program Manager will be responsible for directing and coordinating all assigned projects, both externally and internally funded, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer expectations. This role will involve managing complex initiatives, communicating with executive management, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve project success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and partner companies.
  • Communicate with executive management regarding the status of projects and any assistance required.
  • Ensure all projects are executed in accordance with company processes and standards.
  • Lead development projects with a focus on design maturation for optimal manufacturing contracts.
  • Organize and plan internal and external meetings to address project execution and mitigate risks.
  • Identify and manage technical, schedule, and budget risks associated with project execution.
  • Develop and maintain action item lists for each project as necessary.
  • Manage subcontracting and purchasing efforts related to program execution.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.G., MS Project) to develop and manage project schedules.
  • Monitor project scope and budget from inception to closure, including handling scope changes.
  • Maintain overall customer satisfaction on all assigned projects.
  • Make critical project decisions balancing technical performance, schedule, and cost.
  • Prepare project management contractual data deliverables regarding cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired.
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices preferred.
