What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Amphibious Combat Vehicle maintenance and operations, including both land and swim capabilities.
- Proven experience and training with the Cursor 16 Engine, as well as knowledge of the Allison 4800 series.
- A solid understanding of military maintenance systems across all levels of repair.
- Familiarity with technical manuals and engineering data.
- Ability to interpret and utilize all types of engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and techniques.
- Marine Corp Occupational expertise in one or more of the following: 2141- AAV Repairer, 2147- LAV Repairer, or 3521 Automotive Maintenance.
- Proficiency in maintenance activities and troubleshooting of the AAV7A1/LAV or other combat vehicles.
We value education and experience. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, an Associate's degree, or relevant military school training. Additionally, four years of work experience in the mechanical, electrical, or electronic field related to military products is required.
