ADAS Analytics Engineer
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Analytics Engineer This position is for an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Analytics Engineer, focuses on analyzing data from CVDP (Connected Vehicle Data Platform), and provide actionable insights for Ford's Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) strategy and feature teams. As an Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate with ADAS feature engineers, user experience teams, designers, hardware and software developers to define current usage patterns along with future embedded analytic requirements. You will also identify ADAS use cases to support SAE L2/L3 autonomous computer based ADAS modeling verification. Responsibilities " Responsible for providing data analytics support for ADAS feature tasks, including assembly of data, pre-processing, data clean-up, and performing predictive/prescriptive analytics. " Query large data sets from Hadoop environment. " Identify key data elements to extract/decode/analyze " Support feature studies with customer use case definition including environmental conditions " Support root-cause analysis with internal feature owners to ensure customer use cases deliver high customer satisfaction " Work with the virtual validation teams to establish CAE use cases to reduce dependence on vehicle-level testing
" 2+ years of academic or business experience in one or more of the following: o A data analytics role including running queries and compiling data o Big Data technologies including Python or Hadoop and command line experience with loading and manipulating files within HDFS o Predictive analytics including machine learning
" Experience in the Hadoop Ecosystem Toolset. This should include Advanced Hive QL, PySpark, Spark Streaming. " High level Analysis Workflow tools such as Alteryx " Creation of Dashboards using Qlikview, Tableau " Expertise with manipulating data to form unified data sets for analysis.
