Position Description:
ADAS Simulator Engineer 
Designing vehicles for a smart world that help people move more safely, confidently and freely. To make driving more exciting, enjoyable and sustainable. Vehicle Attribute Engineering at Ford is dedicated to deliver robust, validated and reliable Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Active Part Assist and 360 degree Camera Systems. In this role, engineers will use State-of-the-Art Simulators to develop Ford' s suite of Advanced Driver Assist Systems and ensure that customer experience meets expectation. Responsibilities: • Support the development of long-term VAE ADAS simulator strategy as part of a team • Lead the development and execution of cross-functional human-in-the-loop simulator demonstrations and studies to verify the operation of the ADAS features, evaluate the vehicle behavior and ensure customer experience o Leads technical discussion on simulator demo requirements with functional partners o Work with Feature Owners to document test cases, plans and reports o Lead the development of simulator test cases for the verification of ADAS features o Actively work with cross-functional teams resolving problems that occurs during feature and vehicle development processes • Lead the integration of vehicle, ADAS models (control modules, cameras, radars and ultra-sonics) and test cases into the simulator environment
Experience Required:
• 1+ years of experience in automotive product development
• 1+ years of experience in active safety systems such as Client, AEB, LKA, TJA, Collision Avoidance
• 2+ years of simulation experience using MathWorks Simulink frameworks or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience with vehicle modeling using tools such as CarSim or CarMaker
• 2+ years of experience with static or dynamic driver-in-loop simulator platforms
Education Required:
Bachelor' s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering.
Education Preferred:
Master' s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering.
