Advanced Electrical Engineer (Contract)
Location: Canonsburg, PA
Employment Type: Contract | Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri
Pay Range: $63.50 per hour
About the Role
Our client is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to design and test innovative electronic systems with real-world impact. In this role, you will apply your expertise in analog and digital circuit design to develop cutting-edge solutions, support prototype testing, and ensure reliable product performance. You will work alongside cross-functional teams in a collaborative, on-site environment to support mission-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
•Design and develop analog circuits including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning systems
•Perform simulations and analyses to verify performance and reliability requirements
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system requirements and specifications
•Create and maintain documentation such as schematics, test plans, and reports
•Conduct testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and production systems
•Support manufacturing teams with technical expertise and participate in design reviews
•Stay updated on advancements in analog and digital design technologies
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree plus 3+ years
•Strong background in analog and digital design
•U.S. Citizenship required (government contract requirement)
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
•Hands-on experience with prototype development and troubleshooting
•Familiarity with defense or aerospace industry standards
•Strong communication and documentation skills
Additional Details
•This is a full-time, on-site contract position in Canonsburg, PA
•Flexible scheduling available, including a 9/80 option (every other Friday off)
