Advanced Shipping Associate
Location: Canonsburg, PA
Pay Range: $25.00 –$28.57/hr
Work Schedule: 100% On-Site

About the Role
The Advanced Shipping Associate supports shipping and logistics operations by performing both manual and administrative shipping duties. This role ensures accurate processing of outgoing shipments including finished goods, raw materials, assemblies, and equipment, while maintaining detailed shipping records and supporting freight tracking and claims activities.

Responsibilities to Anticipate

  • Process outgoing shipments including finished products, raw materials, assemblies, and equipment

  • Prepare items for shipment including packaging, labeling, and documentation

  • Maintain shipping records and verify invoices and bills of lading

  • Track shipments and respond to internal and external shipping inquiries

  • File freight claims for lost or damaged shipments when required

  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, sky track, and cranes

  • Support shipping operations involving controlled or classified materials

  • Maintain compliance with shipping procedures, safety requirements, and documentation standards

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within shipping and logistics operations

Qualifications Sought

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 4+ years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience

  • AA Degree or relevant certification preferred

  • Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, crane, sky track)

  • Strong understanding of shipping processes and documentation

  • Experience supporting shipment of controlled or sensitive materials preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems

Clearance Requirement
Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance required at time of hire
Candidates must be eligible for access to classified information and must be U.S. Citizens.

  • 100% On-Site in Canonsburg, PA

  • Warehouse, shipping dock, and production support environments
