Position Overview
Seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to support development of next-generation torpedo guidance and undersea defense systems for the U.S. Navy. This role works within a cross-functional engineering team performing requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, and performance evaluation for ruggedized electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities

Perform systems engineering activities across the full development lifecycle

Develop and manage system requirements, functional analysis, and performance analysis

Support system architecture, integration, and design of ruggedized electronics

Conduct requirements flow-down and traceability
-
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Utilize systems modeling and requirements management tools

Support failure investigations and system validation activities
-
Present technical strategies and program plans to internal and external stakeholders
Required Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field
-
5+ years of relevant experience, OR
-
Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
Preferred Skills
-
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
-
SysML/UML tools (MagicDraw/Cameo)
-
Requirements management tools (DOORS)
-
MATLAB, Jira, and Agile development environments
-
Experience supporting complex defense or undersea systems programs
Clearance Requirement

Active DoD Secret clearance preferred at time of hire

Must be eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance

U.S. Citizenship required
