Job Description

Client is looking to hire an Associate Industrial Engineer for Tallahassee, Florida location.
On-site Presence:
  • Due to the nature of the work, this role will require 100% on-site presence.

Responsibilities for Associate Industrial Engineer:
  • Develop manning requirements, work standards and equipment capacity.
  • Investigate, analyze and propose new or improved methods and systems relative to reducing costs, maximizing utilization, increasing throughputs.
  • Participates in special studies for manufacturing costs, facilitation, risk identification/mitigation, improvement recommendations, etc.
  • Measurement and control of labor and other manufacturing expenses (OME).
  • Maintain production department performance reports.
  • Estimate new product labor costs and production planning
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to support production teams in achieving cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
  • Interface with Production Team Leaders, Production Control and Engineering.

Qualifications for Associate Industrial Engineer:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks, track and follow up on requests for information.
  • Experience in statistical analysis of data trending (Green Belt type projects).
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and build schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to approach issues with a systematic approach that yields positive results.
  • Must have Oracle proficiency with various programs.
  • Must be able to work in a multi-disciplined team environment.
  • Experience with the manufacture or design of military vehicles preferred.

Schedule:
  • 7AM - 5PM (Mon - Thurs).
  • 7AM - 4PM (Every other Friday).
  • Overtime and off-shift work may be required.

This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.

A sports enthusiast himself, Terry coaches AAU All-Star Basketball. He is also the Head Coach of Grade School Tackle Football for Butler, PA.
