Position Description:
Responsibility for this position includes but is not limited to: • Lead for commodity knowledge and market intelligence including cost, bill of process, etc. • Lead activities to deliver Best Cost at Job#1 • Lead cross-functional interface (primarily with Design Studio, PD, Cost Estimating) • Lead operational activities to support program timing and cost recovery - PO/TO' s, tooling audits, PRIS reminders, etc. • Lead Capacity Study management including cost negotiation • Participate in Launch Readiness reviews to ensure supplier prepared for launch • Lead CPA to J#1 cost true-up – including DT2 cost confirmation and Raw Material link establishment • Support and co-drive w/STA all supplier Q1 and quality objectives • Lead the development and deployment of constraint mitigation actions to protect assembly plant production as a result of supplier constraints or catastrophic losses
