Job Description

Daily Tasks:
- Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors performance of suppliers.
- Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluates areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions.
- Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
- Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
- Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment and maintains necessary records.
- May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science plus 1+ years' experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Candidate must have active SECRET Security clearance prior to hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, US citizenship is required.

Jason attended St. John's Northwestern Military Academy in Wisconsin where he was exposed to JROTC leadership education training and military sciences. He has served on alumni executive board for the University of Wisconsin Stout's National social philanthropy fraternity, Phi Sigma Phi. Jason also continues to provide support for local dog rescue organizations in the Phoenix area by donating time and participating in local adoption events.
