Direct Hire- Pay Rate: $28 - $35 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Location: Detroit, MI
Our client: Founded in 1983 as a Minority Owned Business Enterprise, our client provides Consulting, Engineering, Architectural, and Surveying services to various Public and Private Institutions, with a primary focus on Water and Wastewater System Improvement Projects. Committed to remaining a moderate-sized minority-owned firm, our objective is to ensure personalized client attention while maintaining the resources necessary to uphold high professional standards.
Job Description: Our client, is an A/E consulting firm, is actively seeking a talented CADD Drafter with a minimum of 5 years of experience in AutoCAD –MEP software. Knowledge of REVIT and MicroStation software is a plus, along with a strong understanding of CADD standards and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop design drawings in coordination with the Design Engineer for water and wastewater projects.
- Set up drawings according to established CADD standards.
- Coordinate with the CADD requirements of the Clients.
- Draft mechanical and electrical drawings, including process piping, electrical distribution, and control for water and wastewater projects.
- Conduct field validation of drawings alongside the Design Engineer.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AutoCAD –MEP software.
- Experience with REVIT and MicroStation software is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of CADD standards and practices.
- Previous experience in drafting mechanical and electrical drawings for water and wastewater projects.
- Ability to coordinate with clients on CADD requirements.
- Field validation experience is highly desirable.
