CNC Swiss Machinist
Job Description
Location: Cincinnati OH
Up to $117, 260 (Earning potential including shift differential, retention bonus, and overtime)
$3.00 Shift differential
$500 Retention Bonus
80 Hours Holiday Pay + Generous PTO + Quarterly Bonuses
Direct Hire -- Benefits eligible after 30 days
Overtime available -- not mandatory
- Up to $40 + plus $3.00 per hour for working on the off shift
- 3rd Shift: Sunday –Thursday, 10: 00 p.M. –6: 30 a.M.
- Training: 1st shift 8AM-4: 30PM for up to 4 weeks
Join our client, a world-leading superabrasives company, as a Senior Swiss Machinist. You'll work as part of a highly skilled team to produce complex, detailed parts for a wide range of markets. Put your Swiss machining skills to work in this dynamic environment!
Key Responsibilities:
- Program from engineering drawings to fabricate materials across the machine shop
- Specify tooling for each program written
- Accurately document setup, production, and any adjustments made during the process
- Design fixtures when necessary
- Troubleshoot programs and tooling to optimize cycle times and ensure quality
- Resolve machine issues, including tool wear, programming errors, and mechanical malfunctions
- Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met
- Assist Engineering/Manufacturing/Quoting teams as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 6+ years of experience programming and operating CNC Mill and Turn Lathes
- Expertise with MO8, and/or Hyundai CNC Mill
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent
