Position Description:
Chassis Integration Engineer to coordinate the interfaces between a program, other functions and the functional teams within Chassis Engineering • Support program PST meetings • Cascade program deliverables and ensure that they are completed by the required gateways/milestones • Ensure program assumptions are aligned to functional agreements and targets • Support cross functional Chassis team in execution of Target Delivery and Target Confirmation for cost, weight and quality • Support function led cost process to deliver sourcing packages • Support program change control process and approval document packages • Support WERS approval and drawing release • Ensure that commodity variable costs, tooling and weights are accurately accounted for in AVBOM/FEDE BOM • Ensure CAD is delivered on time and support resolution of any CAD interface/package issues • Confirm functional test timing is accurately reflected in the system • Verify functional testing needs for vehicle level confirmation • Lead delivery of final drawing / part release • Provide on-site support for vehicle mule updates and prototype builds at New Models and/or Roush • Provide on-site support for final vehicle launch through Ok to Buy at Final Vehicle Assembly Plant • Lead resolution of prototype and final assembly build issues and update issues tracking system (AIMS) • Obtain approval for build deviation (Alert) process • Cascade lessons learned to functional engineers and program
Skills Preferred:
• Ability to integrate, consolidate and manage multiple projects and multiple model year plans for major program teams.• Automotive experience, design & release engineer /systems/process/quality/engineer

Matt started with Contract Professionals, Inc. in November 2014. He began as a Technical Recruiter assigned to the automotive team. He worked hand in hand with account managers, to spearhead specific projects with CPI's clients. Driven to succeed, Matt achieved his goal(s) within the first year. He continued working on accounts and he learned the leadership process throughout his 4-year career at CPI.

Today, Matt is proud to the Recruiting Team Leader of the Automotive Branch. His primary role is to oversee the automotive recruiters as they work to fulfill client expectations.

Matt was awarded a Bachelor of Art in Environmental Studies at University of Michigan. Matt also received an Associate degree in Automotive Mechanics from a local community college.
