Job Description
We are hiring a Chemical Process Technician to support plating operations and solution control in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining process standards, testing solutions, and supporting overall plating quality.
Shift: 5: 00am-3: 30pm Monday- Thursday
Pay: $19.50-$23.00/hr
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Key Responsibilities
- Test process solutions and identify variations from standards
- Recommend and support chemical adjustments to maintain proper balance
- Maintain compliance with AIAG CQI-11 requirements
- Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 procedures and audits
- Ensure proper treatment and handling of plating solutions
- Maintain lab equipment, chemical inventory, and overall organization
Requirements
- Experience in a lab, manufacturing, or plating environment preferred
- Knowledge of chemical testing and solution control
- Familiarity with plating processes is a plus
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
