In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of project managers and engineers, creating detailed plans using AutoCAD/Civil 3D from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for site development, transportation, and utility projects.
- Create detailed CAD drawings and models to meet project standards.
- Collaborate with teams to develop design concepts and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Gather and analyze survey data and other relevant information for project planning.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project planning and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to secure necessary project approvals.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify design requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits to ensure quality control.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in land development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and standards.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contract.
