Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite)
Salary: $100, 000 –$125, 000
Employment Type: Direct Hire

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead land development and infrastructure projects across the U.S. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing projects from planning and design through construction, while ensuring quality, cost control, and on-time delivery.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners, while also mentoring junior staff and helping drive project success from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects (land/site development, roadways, water systems, sewer, and drainage)
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and overall performance
  • Prepare and review proposals, contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects moving forward
  • Monitor progress, quality, and costs, and address any issues as they arise
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Conduct site visits/inspections and provide technical support to field teams
  • Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff
  • Promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Support continuous improvement of processes and project execution

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 10+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management (land development preferred)
  • Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, or similar tools
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
