Civil Engineer/Project Manager- Boise Idaho

A nationally recognized design firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead land development and infrastructure projects across the U.S. This fully remote position is open to candidates located in the Boise, ID area and offers the flexibility of working from home while staying connected to local project activity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Plan and manage site development and infrastructure projects—roads, water, sewer, stormwater, and more

Guide projects from preliminary design and permitting to construction and final closeout

Prepare and review proposals, budgets, technical documents, and reports

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies

Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve field issues

Lead, mentor, and motivate engineering and design teams

Ensure project compliance with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations

Foster a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
-
Active PE license (Professional Engineer)
-
7+ years of civil engineering experience with at least 3 years in a project management role

Strong background in land development and municipal infrastructure projects

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS

Proven success delivering complex projects on time and within budget

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Must be located within a commutable distance to Boise, ID for occasional site work
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $95, 000–$110, 000 DOE
-
Schedule: Remote flexibility with occasional travel

Health: Medical, dental, FSA, life, and AD&D coverage starting the first of the month after hire

Retirement: 401(k) with employer contributions and automatic enrollment

Time Off: 136 hours PTO in 2025 (prorated);increases to 160 hours in 2026

Extras: $50/month phone stipend, 8 paid holidays
