Responsibilities:

• Pre-RFP Release

  Review RFP and develop (project specific) Wall of Truth (rules that will be followed for each proposal are established)
Train to ensure familiarity with context change risk, CE standards, and proposal development process support
Complete assessments to demonstrate skill level

• Post-RFP Proposal Development

  Ensuring text grammatical accuracy
Writing consistency (tense, active)
Ensuring factual (metrics, historical information) consistency
Proofing for formatting consistency
Support all team proposal reviews
Support SME/TW proposal development requests (data research, rewrite requests, and other collaborative efforts)

Critical skills/qualifications are:

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Bachelors degree (English/Journalism preferred)

Unique skills/qualifications for team functional lead:

• Team lead/management experience
• Advanced degree in English

Desired Skills/Qualifications/Background:

• Work experience with technical writing responsibilities
• Familiarity with government proposals and the procurement process (rigid requirements and evaluation criteria)

John is currently the Director of Business Development for Contract Professionals, Inc. He currently manages the Green Bay, Wisconsin office and works with clients in Wisconsin, as well as several clients located throughout the United States.

John started his career in talent acquisition in 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts. For the past 20 years, John has worked with clients throughout the U.S. providing contingent and permanent staffing solutions in the areas of engineering, information technology and government/defense related positions.

John works directly with hiring managers and corporate recruiters to understand their staffing goals and future needs, in order to support their hiring initiatives.

In his free time, John enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and their dog “Inky."
