Job Description


Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated Customer Relations Manager to join their team. In this role, you will develop and maintain internal and external relationships and assist in administrative tasks related to business procurement quotes, purchase orders, and proposals. Your position will involve relieving officials of business details by performing a variety of duties.

Location: Plymouth, MI

Compensation: $70, 000-80, 000 (Direct Hire with benefits)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compose, edit, and type routine correspondence, charts, spreadsheets, and documents.
  • Efficiently and accurately input, update, and maintain order data.
  • Correspond with customers regarding quotes, purchase orders, and delivery status information.
  • Track production, quotations, and due dates for proposals.
  • Review purchase order pricing and lead time.
  • Acquire material pricing, cost, and pricing data.
  • Research business opportunities using government bidding websites and other mediums.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and five to seven years of related experience and/or training;or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of experience working at a manufacturer of highly engineered alloyed products is highly desirable.

Reasoning Ability:
  • Apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.

Physical Demands:
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and reach.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
