Job Description
- DSESTS Operator In Europe
- Duration of this assignment is approximately one (1) year.
- The DSESTS Operator at the designated site required to interface with the client, other employees at the location, and reports to the assigned Supervisor;
- Provides technical and maintenance troubleshooting and repair for the Bradley family of vehicles'Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Shop Repairable Units (SRUs), capable of providing informal instruction to team and customer;
- Provides guidance and training for those performing diagnosis, disassembly, repair, and re-assembly on LRUs and SRUs from the Bradley family of vehicles;
- Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of individual ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness;
- Notifies Management of problems within technical areas as required;
- Capable of receiving guidance from customers and translating that guidance into priorities of work, while communicating client's needs or concerns to Management;
- Prepared to perform mechanic duties on the Bradley family of vehicles, as required;
- Able to attend an 80-hour DSESTS refresher/training course, in the US, prior to deployment;
- Performs other duties, as required.
- Must have three (3) or more years of experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting and performining maintenance on the Bradley Family of Vehicles;
- Able to work with minimal supervision;
- Must be able to meet and maintain all deployment requirements, to include a passport;
- Ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills;
- Familiarity with the Bradley family of Ground Combat Vehicles with maintenance and troubleshooting experience;
- Able to gain access to military installations and travel throughout the United States and abroad;
- Willing to work effectively in a team-oriented structure to include field, office and shop environments both on and off military installations;
- Able to obtain an international driver's license and be capable of obtaining a security clearance, if necessary;
- Required to work at various heights, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, able to climb, to work in enclosed spaces - often in awkward positions, extreme temperatures, dusty environments and
- Be able to work autonomously with U.S. Or foreign government personnel
