Job Title: Senior Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Systems Engineer
Location: Fort Wayne, IN (Onsite)
Position Type: Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $72.00/hr.

Position Overview
Contract Professionals, Inc. Is seeking a Senior Advanced DSP Systems Engineer to support RF-based defense systems within an advanced electronics engineering environment. This role focuses on developing, modeling, verifying, and analyzing digital signal processing algorithms across hardware and software implementations. The selected candidate will contribute to mission-critical RF technologies supporting advanced navigation and anti-jam capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
•Analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms for RF-based systems
•Develop and model advanced RF system algorithms
•Verify implementations and perform system-level performance analysis
•Conduct systems requirements analysis and validation activities
•Convert floating-point models to fixed-point implementations for hardware deployment
•Perform hardware/software partitioning and architectural trade studies
•Collaborate across hardware and software engineering teams
•Conduct hands-on lab verification and system performance validation

Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field
•8+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree plus 6+ years
•Strong background in statistical signal processing and multi-rate signal processing
•Experience developing DSP algorithms for RF systems
•Experience with Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes, or Communications Theory
•Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance
•U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications
•Signal processing architecture design
•Fixed-point modeling and hardware implementation experience
•Software/hardware trade study experience
•Hands-on system integration and performance validation

What Sets You Apart
•Experience designing and implementing anti-jam systems using spatial beamforming and beam nulling
•GNSS and Alternative Navigation (AltNav) anti-jam experience preferred
•Knowledge of STAP, SFAP, or similar anti-jam algorithms
•Experience developing multi-channel anti-jam algorithms from a mathematical foundation
•Strong systems development lifecycle leadership
•Proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools
•Technical leadership within cross-functional engineering teams
•Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Work Environment
Onsite role located in Fort Wayne, IN.
