Advanced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Technician
Location: McLeansville, NC
Pay Rate: Up to $30.68/hour

Position Overview
The Advanced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Technician provides administrative and technical support to ILS specialists and managers. This role supports development efforts for new and revised products and programs while ensuring documentation accuracy, logistics planning effectiveness, and lifecycle support alignment.

The technician will assist in reviewing and updating technical materials, supporting documentation of complex specifications and requirements, and improving operating procedures to enhance quality, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ILS specialists and managers with administrative and technical tasks

  • Review and update technical materials for clarity and efficiency

  • Assist in documentation of specifications, requirements, contracts, policies, and standards

  • Develop and improve operating procedures

  • Generate documents, create spreadsheets, and analyze data

  • Perform shipping and receiving activities

  • Conduct basic stockroom functions

  • Lift up to 50 lbs as required

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree required

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

  • Solid knowledge of Acquisition Logistics and supportability planning

  • In-depth understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements, including:

    • Supply support

    • Maintenance planning

    • Manpower and personnel

    • Technical manuals

    • Training and training equipment

    • Support equipment

    • Facilities

    • Computer resources support

    • Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T)

    • Design interface

    • Reliability, Maintainability & Availability (RM&A)

  • Understanding of how ILS elements interact across a program lifecycle

  • Ability to generate documentation and perform spreadsheet-based analysis

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
