Position Title: Experienced Systems Engineer –Nuclear Weapons Security
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Flex (periods of 100% onsite required)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Systems Engineer will support the Nuclear Weapons Security program as part of a cross-functional engineering team. This role focuses on the design, integration, maintenance, and support of advanced security and information systems used in mission-critical national defense applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, integrate, and maintain advanced security and information systems supporting nuclear weapons security missions

  • Support deployed systems through sustainment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities

  • Apply systems engineering principles across the full lifecycle, including requirements development, decomposition, verification, and validation

  • Develop and execute test procedures to ensure system compliance with technical and security requirements

  • Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, and network engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable system solutions

  • Support system modeling, documentation, and configuration management efforts

  • Participate in Agile development environments as applicable

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
    OR

  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

  • Experience working in secure or regulated engineering environments preferred

  • Agile development experience preferred

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • IBM DOORS

  • Simulink

  • Requirements decomposition and management

  • Test procedure development

  • Windows PowerShell

  • Cisco networking fundamentals

  • Operating system administration (Linux and Windows)

  • Virtualization technologies

  • Cybersecurity tool implementation and administration

  • Database administration (MongoDB preferred)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This assignment is a U.S. Government contract which requires all applicants to be U.S. Citizens.
