Job Title: Advanced Electrical Engineer –Autonomous Maritime Systems
Location: Quincy, MA (Flex / Onsite)
Position Type: Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $63.96/hr.
Position Overview
Contract Professionals, Inc. Is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of autonomous maritime and sub-sea systems. This role focuses on circuit design, PCB development, and mixed-signal electronics integration within advanced autonomous platforms.
The selected candidate will contribute to research, development, prototyping, and production of cutting-edge electrical systems supporting defense maritime applications.
Key Responsibilities
•Design and develop mixed-signal electrical circuits
•Perform PCB layout and support hardware design using Altium Designer
•Conduct circuit analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and validation
•Support component selection and electronics architecture decisions
•Develop prototypes and support hardware integration efforts
•Participate in cross-functional design reviews
•Maintain technical documentation and design artifacts
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
•5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience OR Master’s degree plus 3+ years
•Proficiency in circuit design and PCB layout
•Experience using Altium Designer
•Experience with mixed-signal circuit analysis
•Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
•U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience in autonomous or sub-sea system development
•Research & Development experience (concept through testing)
•Experience troubleshooting and reading circuit card schematics
•Experience driving innovation in electronics architecture
Work Environment
Flex / Onsite role located in Quincy, MA.
9/80 schedule available.
