Job Description
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Are you a software engineer passionate about developing next-generation cryptographic solutions? In this role, you’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team designing and implementing secure Linux-based applications for embedded systems, helping drive advanced solutions for mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement cryptographic solutions for embedded Linux systems
- Lead software development efforts and provide technical guidance to the team
- Debug and optimize embedded Linux applications
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex engineering challenges
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, high-performance solutions
- Stay current with technology trends and contribute to process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s + 3 years acceptable)
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Strong experience developing Linux applications for embedded systems
- Skilled in embedded Linux debugging techniques
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience with Vitis, Petalinux, or Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+/Versal)
- Experience with software-defined radio or satellite applications
- Familiarity with secure Red/Black separation architectures
- Experience with Docker and Podman on Linux
- Experience with Windriver Linux
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose high-quality solutions with minimal input
- This position is hybrid/flex with occasional on-site work at the Scottsdale, AZ campus
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements
