Job Description
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Are you a skilled software engineer with a passion for embedded Linux development and cryptographic solutions? In this role, you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and implement next-generation cryptographic technologies for mission-critical systems. You’ll contribute to secure, high-performance solutions in a dynamic, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel drivers for embedded systems
- Lead software development efforts and provide technical guidance to the team
- Debug and optimize kernel drivers and embedded Linux applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex engineering challenges
- Propose high-quality, high-performance solutions with minimal direction
- Stay current with technology trends and contribute to process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s + 3 years acceptable)
- 5+ years of experience developing Linux kernel drivers for embedded systems
- Strong skills in kernel driver debugging and embedded Linux development
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience with Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+/Versal)
- Experience with Linux networking and routing
- Familiarity with Docker and Podman on Linux
- Experience with Windriver Linux
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality solutions
- Experience in secure or mission-critical software systems a plus
- This position is hybrid/flex with occasional on-site work at the Scottsdale, AZ campus
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements
