Position: Digital Enterprise Engineer
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay Rate: $72.00 –$82.50/hour
Schedule: Hybrid (95% On-Site)

Position Overview
The Digital Enterprise Engineer will support the Integrated Digital Enterprise Environment (IDEE) and lead initiatives to expand and enhance the digital ecosystem across engineering and enterprise organizations. This role focuses on connecting tools, data, and stakeholders to establish and mature digital threads across defined Authoritative Sources of Truth (ASoTs).
The engineer will collaborate across engineering, IT, and enterprise organizations to enhance system connectivity, implement new integrations, and drive improvements that enable a unified digital environment.
Key Responsibilities

Enhance and expand the Integrated Digital Enterprise Environment (IDEE) by improving tool connectivity and data integration

Develop and mature digital threads across defined Authoritative Sources of Truth (ASoTs)

Collaborate with engineering and IT stakeholders to capture functional requirements including data input/output and system interfaces

Transform manual processes into automated workflows and document new processes

Identify risks and gaps within the digital enterprise ecosystem

Operate in an agile environment and adapt to evolving priorities

Review and assess integration strategies, virtualization, storage, and technical support models

Support digital roadmap development and oversight

Navigate application owners and vendors for data collection and integration efforts
Basic Qualifications
-
Undergraduate degree in Engineering required (Computer Science, Data Science, or related field acceptable with relevant experience)

5–7+ years of engineering experience

Systems Engineering mindset for program execution

MBSE experience using Cameo/MagicDraw or similar tool required

Understanding of Model Based Design (MBD) and digital engineering applications

Solid understanding of hardware and software development disciplines

Strong knowledge management skills

Ability to identify and define configuration gaps and risks

Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within digital ecosystems

Experience facilitating cross-functional integration efforts

Ability to articulate digital transformation vision

Experience navigating enterprise application owners and vendors
Additional Requirements

Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security clearance

Hybrid role with expectation of 95% on-site presence

Ability to adapt to fast-changing, agile environments
