Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Canonsburg, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time | Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri
Pay Range: $45.81/hour

About the Role
Join our client as a Senior Electrical Engineer supporting advanced torpedo guidance and control systems for the Department of Defense. You will design, integrate, and test complex analog and digital circuits while contributing to high-reliability systems in a collaborative engineering environment. This role allows you to directly impact mission-critical capabilities, from signal processing to cyber-secure high-speed electronics.
Key Responsibilities
·Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems, including power control circuits
·Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware
·Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits
·Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design
·Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems
·Ensure designs meet reliability, safety, and performance requirements
Required Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field (Master’s degree acceptable)
·2+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience (Master’s + experience acceptable)
·U.S. Citizenship required
·Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance
·Experience with electrical hardware integration, analog/digital design, and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
·Expertise in power system design, including DC/DC (Buck, Boost, LDO) and AC/DC systems
·Proficiency with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet)
·Experience with multilayer PCB design
·Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries
·Experience with high-speed digital design
·Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design
·Knowledge of safety-significant circuit design
