Electrical Engineer
Role Overview:
The Electrical Engineer designs, develops, and integrates complex electrical systems for military vehicles, focusing on vetronics and power distribution. This role involves working on high-priority defense programs, ensuring compliance with military standards, and delivering innovative solutions for modern combat environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and manage requirements for vehicle systems.
- Develop electrical and power distribution concepts and architectures.
- Perform trade studies, simulations, and performance evaluations.
- Integrate military systems (lethality, survivability, C5ISR).
- Design and review schematics, drawings, and specifications.
- Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Manage project schedules, status updates, and open issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, Systems, or related).
- Experience:
- 5+ years in vetronics and systems integration.
- Familiarity with US DoD vehicle requirements and processes.
- Knowledge of military standards, C5ISR systems, and communication protocols (CANBus, Ethernet).
- Skills:
- Hands-on lab experience (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently under deadlines.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Defense SECRET clearance.
Preferred:
- German language proficiency.
- Experience with large U.S. Defense programs and regulated industries.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and extended periods of standing.
- Domestic and international travel required.
