Canonsburg, PA
Pay Rate: $23-$26/hourly
100% Onsite | Advanced Defense Electronics Programs
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an electronics technician looking to build hands-on experience supporting advanced defense and engineering technologies. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering and production teams supporting the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and integration of complex electronic systems and assemblies.

You’ll support cutting-edge programs involving advanced electronics, prototype systems, and highly specialized technologies in a collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform component-level troubleshooting on:
    • Analog electronics
    • Digital electronics
    • Mixed-signal systems
    • Power electronics assemblies
  • Analyze:
    • Circuit schematics
    • Wiring diagrams
    • Technical documentation
  • Use advanced diagnostic and test equipment including:
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Spectrum analyzers
    • Logic analyzers
    • Signal generators
    • Multimeters
  • Diagnose and repair failed or out-of-spec electronic components including:
    • Resistors
    • Capacitors
    • Diodes
    • Transistors
    • Integrated circuits
    • Power devices
  • Conduct functional and environmental testing
  • Document:
    • Failure modes
    • Root causes
    • Corrective actions
  • Support engineering, quality, and production teams with troubleshooting activities
  • Assist in developing:
    • Test plans
    • Troubleshooting procedures
    • Repair documentation
  • Support fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant electronics troubleshooting experience
  • Proven component-level diagnostic and repair capability
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Analog circuits
    • Digital circuits
    • Power electronics
    • Communication interfaces
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and documentation
  • Familiarity with laboratory and electronic test equipment
  • Basic hardware fabrication skills
Preferred Experience
  • Solder repair certification
  • FCC licensing experience
  • Experience supporting prototype or engineering lab environments
  • Military or defense electronics experience
  • Experience with mixed-signal or power systems troubleshooting
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Position is 100% onsite
