Position Description:
Engine CAE Durability and Dynamics Analysis
• Plan and conduct FEA/CAE analysis of engine components/systems with respect to the durability or dynamics • Provide direction and recommendations for the design of engine components/systems based on results obtained from FEA/CAE/Optimization analysis • Apply analytical reliability & robustness methodologies to optimize engine components and systems • Apply engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve engine components CAE guideline/procedures • Collaborate with components/systems engineers to provide design direction and confirmation to achieve targets for performance, quality, function, weight and cost • Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the design, manufacturing, quality, etc. • Collaborate with components/system engineers to resolve engine components/systems issues for both prototype and production programs

Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience applying CAE durability or dynamics optimization methods in the design of engine components/systems or Experience with Simulia ABAQUS, Tosca, MSC NASTRAN, FEMFAT, CATIA V5, Altair suite (Hypermesh, Hyperview, Optistruct), Simlab, Matlab, Excite Power Unit, Excite Designer, Valdyn, Hyperworks, iSIGHT, Optistruct, SimLab, GT Suite, HPC, Powerpoint, Unix/Linux MS Office

Matt started with Contract Professionals, Inc. in November 2014. He began as a Technical Recruiter assigned to the automotive team. He worked hand in hand with account managers, to spearhead specific projects with CPI's clients. Driven to succeed, Matt achieved his goal(s) within the first year. He continued working on accounts and he learned the leadership process throughout his 4-year career at CPI.

When the opportunity presented itself, he was promoted to Account Manager of the automotive division. He navigates the challenges in this new role by utilizing the senior staff in the office.

Matt was awarded a Bachelor of Art in Environmental Studies at University of Michigan. Matt also received an Associate degree in Automotive Mechanics from a local community college.

Matt is thriving as a new Account Manager at CPI, and he looks forward to the challenges that await him in the workforce solutions industry.
