About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected firm in the real estate and default servicing space, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Attorney with 1–3 years of experience. This temp-to-hire role offers hands-on exposure to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and title matters, competitive pay, and long-term career growth potential.
This position is ideal for:

Licensed professionals currently working as legal assistants or associates who are actively pursuing or have recently completed their JD.

Entry-level attorneys with up to 2 years of real estate law experience (even if not specific to default servicing) who are sharp, motivated, and eager to specialize in this field.
Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in non-judicial and judicial foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy cases, and title issue files.

Draft legal documents—such as FDCPA letters, notices of sale, and sheriff’s deeds—ensuring accuracy and compliance with Michigan laws.

Provide strategic legal counsel tailored to client objectives.

Collaborate with staff by offering guidance and fostering efficiency.

Manage multiple case files while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications

Active admission to the Michigan State Bar with a valid P Number.

1–3 years of law practice experience.

Strong drafting, organizational, and time-management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively while handling independent responsibilities.
