Feature Process Development Engineer
Core Position Duties:
• Develop and maintain the Feature Ownership Processes • Identify improvements to the processes and incorporate into the baseline • Enhance the processes with approved methods and tools • Be a resource for feature owners and support with the framework, processes and tools for successful program delivery • Develop approaches to drive cross-functional and cross-feature issue resolution and define escalation plan • Develop the feature change management process used on each vehicle program Additional Growth Opportunities: • Contribute to the development of feature specifications, feature Failure Mode Avoidance documentation, feature verification plan, etc. • Enhance Feature Ownership to incorporate Functional Safety into the process • Contribute to the incorporation of agile principles into the feature development process
Skills Preferred:
Good team work skills and practices. Demonstrated ability to write presentations and communicate well with various groups. Strong leadership skills, passion for quality, passion to improve customer satisfaction. Good team work skills and practices.
Experience Required:
2+ years of experience with automotive systems engineering.
Experience Preferred:
Experience in process modeling with Method Park Stages.
Design & Release and/or functional PMT experience.
Education Required:
BSME or BSEE
Education Preferred:
Masters' degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
