Field Service Tech III
Job Description
We are seeking 6 qualified individuals to join our team as Artillery Mechanics specializing in M109A6/A7 systems. The ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in field service operations and a strong background in artillery maintenance. This position requires the ability to travel frequently and the capability to obtain a Security Clearance in the future.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on M109A6/A7 artillery systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and government regulations.
- Travel to various locations as required to perform field service duties.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in artillery maintenance, specifically with M109A6/A7 systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in various field conditions.
- Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance in the future.
- US Citizenship is mandatory as this position is a US Government Contract.
