Job Description
The Mechanic will field new equipment (Amphibious Combat Vehicle) to the gaining units. Candidate will assist the unit with services, inspections, helps the unit with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, parts identification, maintenance and repairs of the ACV equipment and ensures minimal interruption to unit operations. Applicant must meet the Anthropometric Size Requirements (ASR) to entry into the driver' s station or into an enclosed military vehicle (under 6' 3" AND under 260 lbs WITH steel toed boots and coveralls on).

Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant Associate' s degree, or military school training; plus additional 4 years work experience in the mechanical/electrical/electronic field of relevant military products
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT:
This assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be US Citizens.

Required Skills:
- Amphibious Combat Vehicle experience of at least 4 years
- 4+ years Cursor 16 Engine experience and/or FIAT Powertrains training
- 4+ years Allison 4800 series experience knowledge and/or Allison Certification.
- 4+ years in previously held MOS 2141, 2147, 3521
Education Required:
