Finance Consultant IV (Supply Chain Financials)

Team member of project group tasked with transforming Supply Chain Finance Planning and Reporting processes. The current project is standardizing and automating the reporting of key monthly metrics to deliver efficiencies for the plant cost teams. Collaborate with key stakeholders, systems functional and development team leads and subject matter experts in each of the supply chain work-streams. The consultant should be comfortable working in situations in which his or her role may change often, be able to maintain confidentiality and work through the complexities of the organization. The consultant role is the finance functional expert with significant knowledge of planning and reporting routines at the plant/mill level. The consultant must have significant SAP experience in product costing and plant/mill reporting. The consultant must be able to identify the source of data within SAP necessary to automate metrics (SAP t-codes, modules, etc.). Additionally, the consultant needs to be able to solve problems and create alternative solutions when data needs are not easily identified. The consultant also partners with IT to document the requirements for standardization and ensures the solution developed is consistent with expected results.
Deep understanding of SAP controlling module specific to product costing, cost center and month end closing process in plants needed
Prior finance experience in plant/mill costing, planning and reporting.
Prior finance experience working on projects, preferably global in scope.
Demonstrated experience managing timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time completion
Prefer experience driving change in an organization

John started his career in talent acquisition in 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts. For the past 20 years, John has worked with clients throughout the U.S. providing contingent and permanent staffing solutions in the areas of engineering, information technology and government/defense related positions.
John works directly with hiring managers and corporate recruiters to understand their staffing goals and future needs, in order to support their hiring initiatives.
