Position Description:
The Global Digital Curbspace team is a part of the City Solutions team within Smart Mobility. The team is responsible for delivering solutions that improve curb asset utilisation for cities. Reporting to the Commercial Director – City Solutions, the City Liaison Lead will: -Represent the Global Digital Curbspace team in all business engagements in North America. -Liaise with key partners & customers to support successful delivery of curbspace projects. -Lead local market implementation of Curbspace experiments, trials and products Roles and Responsibilities. Working with the US City Solutions team, identify & lead engagement with potential US City customers. Liaise with US cities to negotiate participation in curb projects. Support the team with negotiation of business opportunities arising from the projects. Support engagement with US academic institutions to identify potential technologies & projects aligned to curbspace projects, and negotiate project participation Work with the Global Curbspace team and US City Solutions team to organise project trials & experiments, and organise curb related events in partnership with cities and academia. Lead all aspects of defining, specifying, resourcing, incepting, project managing, completing tasks towards and delivering specified curbspace projects and/or products within budget. Assist in the identification of partners and suppliers to collaborate with on key projects. Assist in the identification of vehicle customers to collaborate with on key projects. Be the voice of the customer for US cities/customers in all digital curbspace projects. Be the subject matter expert on the US Curbspace & parking market, and related legislation. Support local market research activities as required on behalf of the team. Attend curb and parking events and city events as requested by the team to support all activities
Experience Required:
- Experience in relationship management, customer engagement and/or sales. - Experience of project management and the implementation of projects, products and/or services.
Education Required:
- Educated to degree level in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related subjects.
