Job Description

Part of a team installing field modification kits on combat vehicles at owning unit locations.
Daily duties include o Operating combat vehicles o Reading and interpreting work instructions, engineering drawings, and safety instructions o Disassembling combat vehicles and vehicle sub-systems o Use tooling to provision for modification kits: cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping, welding, painting o Assembling modification kits o Welding Steel and Aluminum (MIG) o Installing modification kits into combat vehicles o Applying software and firmware updates o Troubleshooting and repair vehicle faults o Maintaining accountability and serviceability assigned equipment o Communicating and/or reporting of workcompleted, vocal and/or MS Office applications o Interact with Soldiers o Over 80% travel o Travel CONUS and OCONUS

Must have experience as a certified welder Must have mechanical ability Must be able to follow instructions, processes, and work as part of a team Must maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety objectives and policies Must be able to wear and pass respirator fit test Must wear issued PPE as directed for assigned task Must be able to refrain from social media/cell phone usage at work Eligible for secret clearance Eligible for DOD issued Common Access Card Basic computer skills o MS Office Outlook, Excel, Power Point o Automated timecard Possess and maintains current passport

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
