About the Role
Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support modification and maintenance operations on Bradley combat vehicles and related platforms. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform troubleshooting, repairs, and modification work, ensuring systems operate at peak performance to meet mission requirements. Will consider other wheel or track or ASE certified Mechanics
Key Responsibilities

Operate, troubleshoot, and repair combat vehicles and associated systems

Perform modification work in accordance with Modification Work Orders (MWOs) and team directives

Collaborate with the modification team to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

Install retrofit kits and implement vehicle upgrades per engineering and safety guidelines
-
Represent the company and its services in a professional, team-oriented manner
-
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report status to team leads
Required Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Experience working on Bradley vehicles or similar combat vehicle systems
-
Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation
-
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Physically capable of performing all essential job functions, including:
-
Working at heights and in confined spaces
- Climbing stairs and ladders
- Carrying a personal tool bag weighing up to 30 lbs

Preferred Experience/Certifications
-
Aluminum GMAW (MIG) welding with valid certifications
-
Forklift operation
-
Overhead crane operation
