Job Description

We are seeking an Injection Molding Process Engineer to develop and implement molding processes that ensure the production of high-quality products. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team and make a direct impact in advancing manufacturing technology.
Compensation: $90K-100K (Direct Hire)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in injection molding process development.
- Expert-level proficiency with Arburg and Cincinnati machines (Screwburg familiarity is a plus).
- Proficient in MS Office;SolidWorks experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement injection molding processes to produce top-quality products.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Arburg and Cincinnati machines.
- Create and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
- Design and optimize mold programs, focusing on glass-filled and mineral-filled thermoplastics.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop molds tailored to machinery requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot and resolve molding process issues;maintain machine parameter databases.
- Train and mentor production staff on molding processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
