Inside Sales Representative - Direct Hire

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Salary: $60, 000 - $70, 000 (depending on experience)

Commission/Bonus: Excellent structure

Job Summary:

Our client seeks a motivated Inside Sales Representative with a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients find the right filtration products. You will support and manage existing customer relationships, maintain client satisfaction, and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Excellent customer service is essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and other channels to generate new business.
  • Reconnect with previous customers to explore new business opportunities and maintain relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored filtration solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing concerns and ensuring high service levels.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay current with industry trends.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities for additional filtration products.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Monitor and report on client account status, providing regular updates to management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the filtration products industry or a related field.
  • Experience in customer service and account management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
