Key Account Manager - Sales (Europe & International)
Location: Troy, MI
Direct Hire
Salary Range: $155, 000 - $175, 000


Role Overview:
The Key Account Manager will drive sales growth in European and international markets, focusing on defense, security, and agriculture. You'll build customer relationships, oversee sales strategies, manage projects, and ensure seamless execution aligned with corporate goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for European and international markets.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key clients (e.G., government agencies, ministries of defense).
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet project milestones and resolve challenges.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze sales data, and optimize performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events and fairs.
  • Lead customer proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field. Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in international sales, ideally in defense, technology, or agriculture.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of military procurement structures and US DoD requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;advanced Excel skills required.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
  • Additional language skills (German, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) preferred.
  • Required Proficiency in German
