Location: Jackson Mi
Pay: $32 per hour, with up to 10 hours of overtime per week.

About This Job Summary: The Electrical and Mechanical Machine Builder is responsible for the complete assembly of industrial and custom automated equipment, both electrically and mechanically. This role includes the electrical assembly of control panels and sub-panels, mechanical and pneumatic assembly, and ensuring continuous improvement and quality control.
Responsibilities: Electrical Assembly:
- Build and wire control panels and sub-panels from schematics.
- Punch and mount electrical enclosures.
- Route and install conduit.
- Perform point-to-point wiring of machines.
- Power up, commission, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Work with multiple voltages.
- Continuously develop and improve product knowledge.
- Identify ways to improve assembly processes to enhance product quality and reduce production costs.
- Assemble standard and custom automated equipment from start to finish using hand, air, and electric tools.
- Install a variety of hardware fasteners and accessories, including drilling and tapping.
- Maintain general housekeeping and good work habits.
- Continuously develop and improve product knowledge.
- Identify ways to improve assembly processes to enhance product quality and reduce production costs.
- Minimum 3 years of panel building and machine wiring experience.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Must provide own hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Aptitude or experience with machine mechanical assembly.
- Good general mechanical skills and understanding of metalworking with a focus on safety and quality.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
